Hemorrhoid Treatment Solutions

Advanced laser technology for the treatment of hemorrhoids, offering a minimally invasive solution with rapid recovery.

Proctology Surgery

Proctology conditions such as hemorrhoids and fistula-in-ano are very prevalent all over the world. Although not life threatening, these conditions are associated with a very poor quality of life and embarrassment.

Some treatment options exist with their advantages and disadvantages. GIGAALASER introduces VELAS™ is implementing next generation minimally invasive laser technology to pioneer advanced standards in proctology treatment solutions. It provides a simple, safe and highly effective solution for the treatment of symptomatic hemorrhoids , fistulas and Pilonidal Sinus. This newapproach is offering, short, minimally invasive procedure with virtually no patient downtime. It eliminates the symptoms of the pathology, while minimizing recurrences, postoperative pain, complications and adverse events such as, damage to the anal sphincter and even stenosis.

Benefits of the technology

Using advanced laser technology to achieve precise energy control and optimize tissue treatment, this approach provides a safer, minimally invasive, and highly effective solution for hemorrhoid treatment

Procedure

LHP® Laser Hemorrhoidoplasty

Approach

Laser fiber precisely delivered through the anoscope

Treatment Plan

Standard operating procedure for VELAS™ laser hemorrhoid treatment.

VELAS™ laser hemorrhoid treatment follows a standardized clinical pathway, indicated for patients with grade I-III internal and mixed hemorrhoids.

The procedure is performed in an outpatient setting, with no hospitalization required. A comprehensive preoperative assessment is conducted by the specialist to determine the location, size, and number of hemorrhoids, and to establish individualized laser treatment parameters.

During the procedure, the patient is placed in the lithotomy position. Under local anesthesia, the laser fiber is precisely delivered through the anoscope to the hemorrhoidal core. The VELAS™ dual-wavelength laser (1470nm + 980nm) selectively targets the hemorrhoidal tissue and feeding vessels through photothermal effects, achieving precise ablation and simultaneous coagulation without damaging surrounding mucosa or the sphincter.

The entire treatment takes only a few minutes, with virtually no bleeding and minimal discomfort during the procedure. Patients can be discharged shortly after the procedure and resume normal activities. Compared to traditional surgery, VELAS™ laser treatment significantly reduces the risk of postoperative pain, bleeding, and anal stenosis, with a low long-term recurrence rate.

  • Outpatient procedure, no hospitalization required
  • Local anesthesia, simple operation
  • Completed in minutes, discharged on the same day

Clinical studies confirm that this treatment procedure is safe and effective, with a low long-term recurrence rate.
